Alan Parry Presents Negotiation and Mediation Seminar

Alan Parry Presents Negotiation and Mediation Seminar

Alan Parry spoke to both the Alamance and Durham County Bar Associations at their respective 2017 annual meetings on January 27 and February 3. Alan presented a seminar for both groups entitled “Ethical and Practical Issues in Negotiation and Mediation,” which focused on how to handle dilemmas that often arise for lawyers and mediators during the course of settlement negotiations and mediated settlement conferences.

Alan has significant experience handling civil disputes, including complex business disputes, in state court, federal court and arbitration. He is also certified by the North Carolina Dispute Resolution Commission to conduct mediations in Superior Court and the Clerk’s Mediation Program, and he is frequently asked to speak to legal and business groups about litigation and dispute resolution issues.
